The Florida Goldcoast Chapter of the 99s proudly offers $6000 dollars in Scholarships

FRAN SARGENT SCHOLARSHIP

TWO awards for $3000 each to be used for an FAA certificate or rating, college program or other worthwhile aviation endeavor. 


It is open to any woman with at least a private pilot certificate who is a resident of Florida or currently enrolled in an aviation training program in Florida. 


DEADLINE FOR RECEIPT OF YOUR APPLICATION SEPTEMBER 20th, 2019. 


Presented at the FL Goldcoast 90th Anniversary Party on November 9th, 2019. 


All applications will be independently reviewed by our FL Goldcoast 99s Scholarship Selection Committee and the Awards will be presented in person at the 99s FL Goldcoast Chapter 90th Anniversary Celebration Luncheon on Saturday November 9th, at Homestead Executive Jet Center in X51 (Homestead General Airport) between 11 am and 3 pm.

Goldcoast Chapter members are proud to see how scholarships have assisted many women pilots move to the next level of their dreams in aviation.  


The Goldcoast Chapter was the first 99s Chapter chartered in Florida in 1940. Florida now has nine Chapters for the 99s throughout Florida. 


The FL Goldcoast 99s work hard to support women pilots in Florida. 


Close to Fifty thousand dollars has been awarded from our Scholarship, since 1982.
